Thank you so much for stopping by. Roxy and Rosa's was founded by two caring Pack Leaders looking to provide only the best dog treats for their dogs. We want your dog to have the same opportunities for delicous and nutrious treats as Roxy and Rosa have.
WHY we make our own treats is almost as important as WHAT we make them with. Read on to hear about our inspiration, our dogs!
Roxy the Pug
I’m a Pug who was living in a puppy mill, a horrid place. I was 10 months old when Homeward Bound rescued me. They brought me to my foster mom Liz, who gave me a name, food, clean water, and a cozy bed to sleep on.
I LOVED having someone take care of me, and I showed it by sticking to Liz’s side like glue. She must have liked it because she decided to keep me forever! Liz is now my pack leader and she tried hard to find a treat that I really liked, but I’m very picky, and didn’t like any that she brought home.
One day while I was playing with Rosa, I heard Hayley (Rosa’s Pack leader) suggest they make their own treats for us. We love trying all the treats Hayley and Liz make for us. If we don’t like them then we don’t get them again.
Rosa the Poodle
I am a black standard poodle and was born in a puppy mill where I spent the first 16 months of my life cramped in a small crate and not treated very well.
Then in 2009 Homeward Bound Rescue League in Canton, MI rescued me. I spent the first 2 months in a foster home where they named me Rosa. Then my pack leader Hayley adopted me and took me home, where I reside with her husband and 2 children.
I am slowly adjusting to my new family life and loving it, especially since Hayley started making these yummy treats. (In constant supply too!) Liz rescued Roxy, my little pug friend. Liz is a good friend of my pack leader, so we get to hang out a lot. They make lots of biscuits, which makes life so much fun.
Homeward Bound Rescue League
Homeward Bound Rescue League is a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue organization dedicated to finding happy healthy homes for our beloved rescued dogs and cats.
Roxy and Rosa were both adopted from HBRL and would never have found new loving homes without their help. That is why Roxy and Rosa's All-Natural Dog Treats donates a portion of ALL profits back to this tremendous organization. Just becasue there is nothing better than giving back.
